1000s Of People Are Building Their Own App With Ai. Are You?
Every tool you're paying for right now was built by someone who's never done your job. They guessed at what you needed, wrapped it in a subscription, and now you're locked in - paying monthly for software that's 80% of what you actually want.
That other 20%? It's costing you time, workarounds, and money every single week.
Justin Burns figured out how to close that gap. He builds the exact tool he needs using AI - no code, no developers, no waiting. And this July 22-24, he's showing you how to do the same thing, live, in three days.
The event is free. The app you walk away with is yours.
Grab your seat for the Apps Built With AI Summit and stop paying for software that almost works.

Good morning, Edmonton and surrounding areas! Happy Saturday! ☀️
K Days is in full swing at the EXPO Centre, and today's issue covers a big shake up at Global Edmonton, a full weekend bridge closure, and a milestone update on Alberta's energy rebate. Storms roll in later tonight, so keep today's forecast handy if you are headed out.

Global Edmonton Loses an Anchor as Corus Moves Production to Toronto
What is happening at Global Edmonton?
Corus Entertainment confirmed this week it is centralizing the technical production of Global News Edmonton and Calgary broadcasts in Toronto, with Unifor reporting 43 jobs cut nationally and about 28 in Alberta.
Global Edmonton's six o'clock co anchor Scott Roberts announced on social media he was among those let go.
The cuts come as Corus continues to grapple with steep declines in advertising revenue.
A tough one for local news, and for a familiar face many of you have watched for years.
Low Level Bridge Fully Closed This Weekend
What is happening with the Low Level Bridge this weekend?
Both directions of the Low Level Bridge, plus parts of Connors Road and Scona Road, are fully closed from Friday night through Monday morning while crews restore the temporary paved detour.
The closure runs until 6am Monday, with 99A Street also closed between Scona Road and the bridges.
The James Macdonald Bridge is the recommended alternate route.
Plan an extra few minutes if you are headed downtown this weekend.
Close to 800,000 Albertans Have Applied for the $100 Energy Rebate
Have you applied for Alberta's energy rebate yet?
Premier Smith says close to 800,000 people have applied for the province's one time $100 energy rebate, with payments already starting to land for those approved.
The rebate is open to Albertans with household income under $225,000, and the portal closes at the end of September.
The province says it has blocked about 35,000 fraudulent applications so far.
If you have not applied yet, this is your reminder.
Two Stony Plain Residents Killed in Highway Crash Near Enoch
What happened in the Parkland County crash?
A 69 year old man and 64 year old woman from Stony Plain died Thursday when their SUV collided with a pickup truck at Highway 627 and Highway 60 in the Parkland County and Enoch area.
The pickup driver was seriously injured and taken to hospital.
A collision reconstructionist is investigating the cause.
Keeping their family and the Stony Plain community in our thoughts today.
July 22-24: Build, Launch, & Own Your First App With Ai
Your industry has a problem you've been describing for years. Now you can build the fix yourself - no code, no dev team, no experience needed. Justin Burns shows you how, live, in 3 days. Free to attend.

Manitoba's Wildfire Evacuation Grows as State of Emergency Continues
How bad are the wildfires in Manitoba right now?
Manitoba remains under a provincewide state of emergency as wildfires keep spreading, with mandatory evacuation orders now covering Leaf Rapids, Snow Lake and several northern communities on top of the roughly 17,000 people already displaced.
Nearly 900 wildfires were burning across Canada as of Friday.
Winnipeg's convention centre is one of the main reception sites for evacuees.
A reminder of just how intense this fire season has become across the country.
Trump Threatens New Tariffs on Canada Over Wildfire Smoke
Why is Trump threatening new tariffs on Canada?
President Trump said this week he plans to add the cost of wildfire smoke pollution drifting into US cities onto Canada's existing tariffs, calling the situation totally unacceptable.
He said he will demand an explanation from Prime Minister Carney.
Trade experts note tariffs normally apply only to physical goods, so how this would actually work is unclear.
One more twist in an already complicated trade relationship.

Argentina Faces FIFA Investigation Over Falklands Banner
What did Argentina's players do to spark a FIFA investigation?
Argentine players held up a banner reading Las Malvinas son Argentinas while celebrating their World Cup semifinal win over England, prompting the UK government to call for a FIFA investigation ahead of Sunday's final against Spain.
FIFA's disciplinary code prohibits political messages at stadiums.
Argentina's president has defended the players, calling the celebration perfectly valid.
One more twist before Sunday's final kicks off.
US and Iran Widen Strikes as Jordan and Kuwait Intercept Missiles
What is the latest in the US Iran conflict?
The US carried out a seventh straight night of strikes on Iran, hitting bridges near the Strait of Hormuz, while Iran retaliated with missiles and drones against US allies in the Gulf.
Jordan's air defences intercepted 10 Iranian missiles early Saturday.
Kuwait's systems engaged incoming threats as the conflict entered its fifth month.
Worth keeping an eye on given the impact on global oil markets.
