1000s Of People Are Building Their Own App With Ai. Are You?
Every tool you're paying for right now was built by someone who's never done your job. They guessed at what you needed, wrapped it in a subscription, and now you're locked in - paying monthly for software that's 80% of what you actually want.
That other 20%? It's costing you time, workarounds, and money every single week.
Justin Burns figured out how to close that gap. He builds the exact tool he needs using AI - no code, no developers, no waiting. And this July 22-24, he's showing you how to do the same thing, live, in three days.
The event is free. The app you walk away with is yours.
Grab your seat for the Apps Built With AI Summit and stop paying for software that almost works.

Good morning, Edmonton and surrounding areas! Happy Sunday! ☀️
It is a calmer day out there after all the storm talk this week, cloudy with a chance of showers. In this issue, the search for a missing Calgary boy widens across the city, an Edmonton address surfaces in an international gang case, and wildfire smoke threatens to delay tonight's World Cup final.
One more thing before you dive in: something new lands in your inbox this Wednesday, and I would love your help shaping it. Scroll down and answer today's quick poll, one click, it goes a long way in deciding how I build it for you.

🔍 Search Widens for Missing Calgary Boy Parker
What is happening in the search for missing Calgary boy Parker?
Calgary police expanded their search citywide Friday for eleven year old Parker, who is autistic, nonverbal and has been missing since Thursday from a northwest day home.
Air, canine and mounted units have joined trained volunteers combing the city.
Parker was last seen wearing black noise cancelling headphones, so he may not hear his name called.
Check your yard, shed or vehicle today, and share his photo if you can.
⚖️ Edmonton Link Surfaces in International Bishnoi Gang Case
How is Edmonton connected to the Bishnoi gang deportation case?
An Alberta man tied to the Lawrence Bishnoi extortion network was ordered deported Friday after Edmonton police intelligence linked gang activity in Alberta to intercepted calls from three other countries.
He appeared at the hearing on camera from his lawyer's office in Edmonton.
The board said the gang runs on a hierarchy, with orders passed down from the top.
A reminder that even a quiet extortion case can have a very local address.
🏈 Elks Roll to Fifth Straight Win, Stay Perfect at Home
How did the Edmonton Elks do against the BC Lions?
The Elks beat the BC Lions 19 to 17 at Commonwealth Stadium Friday night, with Vincent Blanchard kicking four field goals to seal it.
The defence forced four turnovers off the Lions backup quarterback.
Edmonton improves to five and one on the season.
Five straight wins and counting, this team is having a summer to remember.

🖥️ Fears Widespread Over Data Centre Impacts on Water and Power Bills
What are Canadians worried about when it comes to AI data centres?
A new national poll finds eighty one percent of Canadians worry data centres will spike their power bills, with Alberta named among the provinces where public pushback is already showing up.
Seventy nine percent also worry about the water and energy these facilities consume.
It ties directly back to the Meta data centre pushback we covered near Gibbons.
Worth watching as more of these facilities get proposed across the province.

⚽ Trump Will Not Rule Out Postponing World Cup Final Over Wildfire Smoke
Could smoke delay today's World Cup final?
With Argentina facing Spain in today's final at MetLife Stadium, the US ambassador to Canada says Trump will not hesitate to ask FIFA to postpone if wildfire smoke makes the air unsafe for players and fans.
Air quality outside New York hit unhealthy for everyone levels on Friday.
Trump is expected to attend and hand out the trophy himself.
Kickoff watchers, keep one eye on the sky today.
🌎 Magnitude 7.3 Earthquake Rattles Mexico and Guatemala Coast
How bad was the earthquake off Mexico and Guatemala?
A magnitude 7.3 earthquake struck off the southern Mexico coast Friday morning, triggering a brief tsunami threat for Mexico and Guatemala that was lifted about three hours later.
No immediate damage or injuries were reported, though shaking was felt as far as Guatemala.
About eighty aftershocks followed, the largest measuring 6.5.
A good reminder to know your evacuation route if you are travelling near the Pacific coast this summer.

BET YOU DID NOT KNOW 🤔
The World Cup trophy being handed out today is not the same one soccer has always used. The original Jules Rimet Trophy was retired after Brazil won its third title in 1970, then stolen from a Brazilian display case in 1983 and never recovered, most likely melted down. Every World Cup since 1974 has used the trophy we know today.
