From One Lincoln Town Car to Two Decades of Dreams: The Champagne Limos Story
Every successful business begins with a dream, and for Champagne Limos Limited, that dream started with one man, one 1997 Lincoln Town Car, and an unwavering love for people. What began as husband Liviu Burtic's vision has blossomed into a trusted Edmonton-area limousine service that has been making special occasions extraordinary for over two decades.
"He started with one 1997 Lincoln Town Car, ten passenger, and he is a people person. He loves people," recalls Susan Burtic, who runs the business alongside her husband from their St. Albert location. "He loves what he was doing, and years down the road, he got me on board."

Building a Fleet, Building Dreams
The early years saw remarkable growth as the couple's dedication to service excellence resonated with clients across Edmonton and surrounding areas. At their peak, Champagne Limos operated a fleet of six limousines, handling everything from weddings and graduations to concerts and sporting events. While COVID-19 forced them to downsize like many businesses, Susan emphasizes that "his dream is still alive."
What sets Champagne Limos apart isn't just the fiber optic lighting and luxurious interiors, it's their personalized approach to every client. "We spend the time to hear what the customer has to say, and we construct our services to fit their needs," Susan explains. "We make their dreams come true. It takes more effort than just hello, goodbye. It's a process."
A Family Business Built on Trust
The operation runs like a well-oiled machine, with Susan handling the initial client consultation and contract creation, then passing the baton to their professional chauffeurs. "Our boys are very professional, and they're fun, and they ensure that the client is taken care of and treated like a VIP," she says. "They're always dressed in a suit, and they just make sure you have the time of your life."

This attention to detail extends to every aspect of the business. Liviu takes "meticulous care" of the limousines, while Susan approaches each event with maternal dedication. "I approach every event like it would be my own child. We put our heart and soul into it," she shares. Whether it's ensuring a bride isn't stressed on her wedding day or giving parents peace of mind during grad celebrations, the couple treats every client like family.
Safety, Service, and Special Moments
Beyond the luxury and fun factor, Champagne Limos serves a practical purpose in today's world. "You can have a group of people, your friends, your family, and take them to an event, and you don't have to worry about drinking and driving," Susan notes. With a two-hour minimum service, they accommodate everything from dinner runs to major sporting events, always prioritizing client safety and satisfaction.
The proof of their success lies in their loyal customer base. "We have several return customers because we've built clientele through our services and through our hands-on approach, and people trust us," Susan says proudly. "It's kind of like being with Allstate. When you're with our hands, you're protected, you're taken care of."

As Champagne Limos looks toward the future, the Burtics remain committed to the same values that started their journey over twenty years ago: genuine care for people, attention to detail, and making every occasion memorable. For your next special event, whether it's a wedding, graduation, or night out with friends, consider experiencing the VIP treatment that has made Champagne Limos a trusted name in Edmonton's transportation industry.

🤔 Bet You Did Not Know...
Alberta sits on top of one of the most seismically active zones in Canada, and it has nothing to do with tectonic plates.
Most of Alberta's earthquakes, including Wednesday's 4.5 magnitude rumble near Morinville, are believed to be induced seismicity, meaning they are triggered by human activity like wastewater injection from oil and gas operations rather than natural geological movement. Alberta has recorded hundreds of these induced earthquakes since monitoring began, and the provincial energy regulator tracks them specifically because of the link to industry activity.
So the next time the ground shakes in Edmonton, it might just be the oil patch reminding you it's still there. 🛢️
